Gibson Innovations is adopting a more specialised approach to its multi-brand strategy as the company selects CDB as its authorised distributor for Philips AVM in New Zealand. CDB will distribute Philips audio products such as Soundbars in a move to “reinvigorate and reposition” well-known brands to the New Zealand market, according to CDB Director, Mark Rice.
Rice explained that the company will be speaking with retailers about the Nitro range and the Fidelio B5 Soundbar as it focuses on the busy Christmas period.
The product management team will be responsible for in-store execution, sales, marketing and promotional activities and delivery of stock via their dedicated distribution centres.
Gibson Innovations Business Leader for Australia and New Zealand, Tracey Duff is eager for Philips to be “guided by a great local team who have excellent customer relationships and professionalism that is second to none.”
The move is set to assist CDB in growing their AVM and broader technology portfolio as the company was predominantly representing small appliance brands until now.
