Kenwood is appealing to consumers who desire a single machine to produce professional results across a range of tasks with its newest food processor, the Multi Pro Excel.
The Multi Pro Excel uses a patented in-bowl drive system that allows the machine to run at variable speeds to handle different tasks, such as, chopping or making dough on slow speeds, mid speed for whisking and juicing, and blending and milling on high speed. This patented technology was developed by Kenwood and enables speeds from 5,000rpm up to 18,000rpm.
The product comes with a 4 litre processing bowl, 1.6 litre mini bowl, 1.6 litre thermoresist blender and compact chopper/grinder. The extra-large feedtube, complete with safety interlock, saves time without having to pre-chop ingredients before processing.
Filiz Bensan category manager for Kenwood said food preparation is all about caring for the ingredients we use and the recipes we create.
“This food processor was designed for the consumer who is very much involved with their cooking. They are after precision in what they do and how they go about it preparing their food.
“It is not about delivering the fastest result but, more so, the best result with the best equipment in a most effective way. The Multi Pro Excel enables the discerning cook to create more great food from a wider choice of attachments and functions,” she said.
The in-pack attachments also include serrated stainless steel blades, twin metal whisks, citrus juicer, dough blade and six single-sided slicing and shredding discs – including a new Crinkle Cut disc.
A weighing function has also been built into the base of the Multi Pro Excel, meaning users do not need to switch ingredients from bowl to processor when weighing for intricate recipes; they simply set the scales back to zero, add ingredients and mix away.
The Multi Pro Excel is available now for RRP $699.
