Canon Australia has announced that Jennifer Ireland has won the PICA Sales Rep of the Year Award at the annual PICA PIW Dinner.
Ireland, who was up against other industry leading sales reps from companies such as Ricoh, FujiFilm, Sales Plus, Maxwells and more, was voted for by photo customers to take out the prestigious award.
Based in Victoria, Jennifer Ireland has been in sales with Canon for over five years.
“We are delighted at the recognition of one of our most outstanding colleagues in the Canon sales team,” said Canon imaging products group, sales manager and photo specialist, Alan Brightman.
“Having sales people who live for the values of the Canon culture reinforces our overall commitment to customer service,” he said.
Canon Australia has also received recognition by winning three Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) awards in Europe.
Voted on by TIPA – which comprises 31 of European magazines from 12 countries – Canon won awards across three product categories.
Receiving the coveted Best D-SLR Professional Camera Award for the third consecutive year was the Canon EOS 5D digital SLR camera.
“We’re incredibly proud that TIPA recognised the professional capabilities of the EOS 5D, which has further strengthened Canon’s leadership in digital SLR by winning our third consecutive TIPA award for the Best Professional D-SLR,” said Canon Australia product manager – consumer imaging products group, Scott Jackson.
The IXUS range of digital still cameras, specifically the IXUS 65, won the award for Best Ultra Compact Digital Camera, while Canon’s imagePROGRAF iPF5000 won the TIPA for Bets Large Format Printer.
“Canon is honoured to receive these prestigious TIPA awards, which recognise our continuing investment in innovation and our commitment to excellence in our products,” said Jackson.
