Russell Hobbs is introducing a new garment care range, which forms the hero product launch for the brand for Christmas 2021.

The Supreme Steam collection comprises three models including the Digital Supreme iron, Supreme handheld steamer and Supreme steam generator.

The Digital Supreme iron has colour control technology and colour protect ceramic soleplate with UV protection for RRP $79.95.

The Supreme handheld steamer can kill up to 99.9% bacteria in under one minute (laboratory tested on two types of bacteria on three surfaces – see website for more details) and steams 25% faster than the current Russell Hobbs RH400 handheld steamer with garments ready in just 45 seconds. It also comes with a personalised scent enhancer attachment for RRP $99.95.

The Supreme steam generator boasts more power but less noise, claiming to be up to 20% quieter than the previous model, and removes more limescale than the Tefal GV8932 (independently verified). It offers 8-bar of pressure with a 390g steam shot for RRP $369.95.

“We are very excited about the launch of our new Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Collection. Not only is it stunning in appearance, but it has incredible performance, category leading innovations and excellent retailer ranging,” Spectrum Brands home appliances brand and communications manager, Dean Hammerton said.

“The collection will arrive with perfect timing heading into 2022, as the Covid vaccination program enters the final stages and consumers begin to travel, go out again and return to work and school.”

The garment care launch will be supported with a strong promotional plan, suite of assets including images and videos, digital media spend, social media investment, point of sale material and other retail support.

To further support retailers, Spectrum Brands has developed a range of production explanation and 360-degree product videos designed to educate sales staff and where possible, conduct in-store visits and hold training events.
