Samsung Electronics Australia is rolling out its Bespoke Refrigerator range through Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Winning Appliances, as well as the Samsung Online Store, with prices starting from $2,999.
The new premium customisable fridges offer an array of colour and spatial combinations to fit individual aesthetics and household needs. The range builds on other Bespoke Home appliances including the Bespoke Jet Stick vacuum, AirDresser and Cube air purifiers.
The Bespoke Refrigerator line-up includes modular single-door refrigerator or freezer, modular two-door bottom mount refrigerator, modular four-door French Door refrigerator and freestanding four-door French Door refrigerator with Beverage Centre, with no limitations on the number of modular fridges that can be combined.
The refrigerators can be further customised by mixing and matching interchangeable panels from a colour palette of Cotta White and Cotta Charcoal in a metal finish, in addition to Clean Pink, Clean Navy, Satin Blue, Satin Grey and Satin Beige in a glass finish. More colours and finishes will be available at a later date. Modular units and individual colour panels can be changed, combined, and upgraded as often as desired.
Internal features include Triple Cooling for optimal control of temperature and humidity in each compartment to help keep food fresher for longer. FlexZone and Convertible Modes can transform freezer modules and compartments into additional fridge space when required.
Plumbed and non-plumbed icemakers are built into Bespoke Refrigerator doors to free up storage space. Select models also incorporate wine shelves and slide and fold shelves. The Bespoke Refrigerator French-Door models are Wi-Fi enabled to track energy usage, as well as monitor and change temperature via Samsung’s SmartThings app.
“Our Bespoke products are designed around one simple theme of allowing Australian consumers to bring their identity and design to life by the product. We know Australians are looking at ways to make their home look better and products that make more use of the space,” Samsung Australia vice president of consumer electronics, Jeremy Senior said.
“Around two in three Australians wish they could upgrade their appliances sooner. We are excited to announce that the Bespoke refrigerator will be arriving in Australia. Fundamentally, we want to give consumers the option to not just customise the colour of the panel, but how many fridges or cabinets they need with the selection of single door, bottom mount and French Door configurations.
“When you consider the number of cabinets and colours available, customers can design well over 200 different combinations.”
