Smeg has presented products from the upcoming launch of its Blu Meditteraneo collection, in collaboration with Dolce and Gabbana, and La Pavoni coffee machines, at the annual Italian Design Day in Sydney.
The event, held at the Space Furniture showroom in Alexandria, was hosted by Vogue Living, together with the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney.
With architects and interior designers in attendance, the event serves as a platform to celebrate the luxury and craftsmanship of Italian design, emphasising the dedication and beauty of Italian furniture. This was complemented by Italian food, wine and music throughout the evening.
Building upon the success of last year’s event, Smeg announced an even larger collaboration this year, partnering with Space Furniture, as well as Vogue Living.
Vogue Living editor-in-chief, Rebecca Caratti (above) was joined by Italy to Sydney ambassador, Paolo Crudele (right) and Italian Design to the world ambassador and architect, Alessandro Colombo (left).
They each delivered their unique perspective and experience, exploring the themes of innovation and sustainability within the global design landscape.
The event was held in line with the release of Vogue Living’s July/August Italian issue.
