Sony has today released its new all-in-one Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System (BDV-N9200W), which is available in black (RRP $1,199) and white (RRP $1,299).
“Featuring Multi-channel 5.1 surround sound, this home cinema system fills the room with each explosion and crescendo, as if you’re right there in the heart of the moment,” Sony said. “Advanced DSP technologies also bring voices, instruments and effects to life with unprecedented detail.”
“Unique to Sony, the BDV-N9200W is built with Magnetic Fluid Speaker technology, which utilises an advanced magnetic fluid material originally developed by NASA. This enables the speakers to faithfully reproduce the finest details of every soundtrack, from whispered dialogue to seat-shaking explosions.”
This release comes just in time for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, of which Sony is a major partner, and complements the Japanese company’s current Score Twice Bravia TV promotion. Sony is giving away 9,000 PlayStation 4s as gifts-with-purchase on selected TVs in its range. The countdown ticker on the Score Twice microsite is broken so it is unknown how many are left.
