Sony has launched the ZV-1 a pocket-sized digital camera described as a lightweight, compact all-in-one solution for content creators of all skill levels.
The ZV-1 is Sony’s first compact camera with a side-opening Vari-angle flip-out LCD screen, making it selfie-friendly with a touch panel control for easy adjustment to settings. Designed for quick and easy vlogging it has an ergonomic grip for stable selfie shooting.
It is equipped with a large 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor for shooting high quality images in challenging lighting conditions. It also delivers blurred background bokeh along with high-speed data readout for 4K video capture and utilises Sony’s Real-time Tracking to focus subjects with accuracy and speed.
The new ‘Product Showcase’ setting gives a quick and smooth focus transition between the subject’s face and the object placed in front of the lens. The Directional built-in three-capsule microphone allows for clear voice recording even in a crowd. The included wind screen accessory minimises wind interference.
Among the accessories is the Multi Interface (MI) Shoe for adding lights, microphones and more. RRP is $1,299.
