DIY security company, Swann has launched SwannShield, a world-first AI-powered home security voice assistant.
Compatible with the SwannBuddy 4K Video Doorbell, the SwannShield Voice Assistant engages with visitors in real-time across different scenarios, from package deliveries and identifying guests through to deterring potential criminals. When activated, the voice assistant can speak to visitors or intruders with a realistic voice in an Australian accent, even when no one is present.
It is easily personalised via the settings in the app, including activating it at the times needed using night and/or away modes, tell it the home address and residents names and instructions for where deliveries should be placed.
SwannShield has security and privacy built-in and manages conversational exchanges across various scenarios. It is optimised to facilitate easy updates and future scalability, allowing Swann to personalise settings. Users can also access transcripts of every conversation in the app for any security irregularities or concerns.
Voice Assistant is available for free within the Swann Security app and used in conjunction with the SwannBuddy 4K Video Doorbell via an over the air (OTA) download of the latest firmware. It will become compatible with more Swann products in the months ahead.
Swann CEO, Alex Talevski said, “Through thoughtful design and careful consideration of user feedback, we aim to deliver an AI-driven voice assistant that seamlessly integrates into users’ lives while providing enhanced protection and peace of mind.”
