Hisense exhibited alongside its fellow brand stablemates Asko and Gorenje at this year’s IFA in Berlin.
The Hisense 85-inch 8K TV really had to be seen to be believed. The TV has two screens, one is the 85-inch for display and is equipped with an 8K Super Resolution Upscaler. The auxiliary screen at the bottom mainly serves as an interactive function, which can respond to user’s voice commands at any time.
Hisense said that the trend of TV industry development must not be the price war, but the high-end screen.
On July 8, Hisense launched the world’s first ULED XD TV in China. Compared with the 65-inch screen previously released, the company increased the size of the set to 75-inch and added the 8K upscaler.
At IFA 2019, Hisense presented its full range of TriChroma Laser TV including Hisense 75-inch and 100-inch models. All its colours are generated by laser without any supplement of colour wheel, which it said can easily reach the highest BT.2020 standard in the industry.
Hisense sonic screen laser TV brings sound (40-18kHz) directly from the screen and with the diaphragm of the Distributed-Mode Loudspeaker vibrating in a complex pattern over its entire surface, it guarantees consistent output level and undistorted time response in all directions.
The greatest advantage of the Hisense sonic screen laser TV is the sense of synchronisation combined with sound and image. The sound effects also perform better than common TV built-in speakers, the brand said.
Turning to the Asko part of the stand and the brand’s Elements ovens took pride of place. The ovens stand for luxury and craftsmanship coupled with advanced technology and present the ultimate tools for the home chef.
The built-in products seamlessly fit in contemporary kitchen design and the Elements line-up features steam technology, combi microwave functionality, pyrolytic cleaning and intuitive touch screen user interfaces.
The brand highlights that the kitchen is more than ever a living space. It is a pleasant, central pitch in the house, where memories are created.
An Asko spokesman said, “Ventilation is important to maintain an environment where our customers can stay creative and healthy. With the addition of our built-in and ceiling units, we can provide adequate ventilation for any type of kitchen.”
Slovenian brand Gorenje, meanwhile, is on the verge of celebrating its 70th anniversary. The company’s focus at IFA 2019 was on smart functions for easier use, perfect results, healthy living and responsible consumption.
Design lines presented by Gorenje this year include Ora ïto and Classico Collection, but the spotlight was on the Simplicity Collection (pictured above) in black or white.
Gorenje also presented its connected washing and drying appliances, which are made in Slovenia. They are a part of the ConnectLife platform that includes advanced digital solutions and services compatible with both connected and non-connected appliances from the wider Hisense Group (Hisense, Gorenje and Asko).
