SYDNEY, NSW: Fisher & Paykel has widened its presence in the kitchen with the launch of the 90 centimetre DishDrawer Wide.
With the ability to accommodate plates up to 31 centimetres in diameter, the new dishwasher has a nine place setting, nine different wash options, quieter operation and a high drying performance, the company said.
The DishDrawer Wide is part of Fisher and Paykel’s modules project, which is the company’s plan to develop a group of uniform modular appliances measuring 90 centimetres wide which can be easily matched around the kitchen.
With this in mind, the DishDrawer Wide matches Fisher & Pakel’s Izona CoolDrawer, as well as the newly-released Izona CookSpace pyrolytic self-clean oven.
“This is the logical evolution of an inherently outstanding design concept which integrates beautifully with current design trends,” said Fisher & Paykel national marketing manager, Peter Russell.
The company has sought to utilise the extra space of the larger DishDrawer by installing four sets of folding tines, including a knife holder, retainer clip and wine glass holder, which are designed to ensure as many dishes as possible can be accommodated.
The DishDrawer Wide also includes a second spray arm, which Fisher & Paykel said creates superior detergent dispersion without sacrificing water efficiency.
The new dishwasher features a 4 star WELS water rating and 3 star energy efficient rating.
The DishDrawer Wide is available now in an integrated model for RRP $1,349 and stainless steel for RRP $1,499.
