In amusing retro-tech news, UnderCurrent grinned widely when it came across this 1995 newspaper advertisement for a mobile phone sale…
While the 50 name-and-number phonebook seems a bit restrictive, TurboDial and AnyKey answer hilariously quaint and the 3-year warranty overly long (considering the networks now want you to upgrade every year), there is something to be said for 22-hour battery life!
Most intriguing for UnderCurrent, however, is Motorola’s “ULTRA-LITE VIBRATING GOLD” — are we still talking about mobile phones…?
