Premium Swiss appliance brand V-Zug is trading in a business park next to a freeway in the middle of nowhere between Brisbane and the Gold Coast for a new head office and ‘Zugarama’ in Kew, one of the most prestigious and leafiest suburbs in Melbourne.
Credit for this move appears to belong to sales and marketing director Mark Tragear, who joined V-Zug in April last year after stints with other Victorian appliance companies Bosch, Clive Peeters and Sampford IXL.
The new Zugarama, which is the fun name given to V-Zug showrooms and customer service centres, should prove very popular with residents of Melbourne’s salubrious inner east. 2015 will be a big year for the pro forma brand, with more laundry and refrigeration appliances expected to be released, complementing V-Zug much-loved range of major cooking appliances.
