Acer hosted a select group of media in a home in Sydney’s inner west to unveil its new range of home appliances under a new brand, Acerpure, launching in Australia this month.
The range comprises air purifiers, an air circulator and a vacuum cleaner with cooking appliances and beauty products to follow in late 2024 and early 2025.
The local launch follows a successful global roll-out of the range across France, Hungary, Switzerland, England, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan and the Philippines.
According to Acer managing director of Oceania, Gaba Cheng (pictured), the company’s mission with Acerpure is to provide technological innovations to resolve various consumer concerns – namely around health and wellness – and provide better home living.
“Acerpure uses technology to solve problems and seamlessly integrate intelligent devices into daily life, offering high efficiency products for a healthier home,” he said.

Headlining the range is the Acerpure Pro UVC Air Purifier equipped with advanced UVC purifying technology and a four-in-one HEPA filter, providing a high CADR of 700m3/hour and coverage up to 116 square metres. A smart CO2 detection system constantly monitors air pollution in the area. Its dark exterior is complemented by metallic orange accents on the four-directional ventilation fins.
The Acerpure Cool 2-in-1 UVC Air Circulator and Purifier blends effective air circulation and air purification in a single device. Powered by UVC purifying technology featuring a four-in-one HEPA filter, Acerpure Cool eliminates 99% of bacteria, allergens, airborne pollutants and particles. Its air circulator function optimises air distribution for maximum comfort.

The Acerpure Pro Vero Eco Air Purifier is the first of its kind to incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials with the chassis made of 35% PCR materials, decreasing CO2 emissions by 20% during its production compared to using virgin plastics. Green mode reduces power consumption by intelligently detecting air quality and switching to the appropriate mode of operation. Air quality is displayed through three-segment lights with green for good, yellow for moderate and red for poor air quality.
The Acerpure Cozy Pedestal Air Circulator Fan projects up to 25 metres, circulating the air five times per hour to reach every corner of the room. 3D Airflow technology delivers greater range and more concentrated airflow than a standard fan. There are 16 speed settings, 90 degree vertical and horizontal oscillation. It works with existing heating and air conditioning to adjust room temperature and save energy.
All air purifiers and air circulators are compatible with the Acerpure Life app to remotely control and monitor the air, as well as receive notifications in real-time.
