The crowds rolled into Australia’s Integrate & Security Exhibition and Conference, a major gathering for the AV community held at the Sydney International Convention Centre.

This annual event is an opportunity for local and global brands to showcase their ground-breaking solutions and news products to corporate end-users.

A spokesperson for Integrate told Appliance Retailer there were more than 9,000 visitors to the show this year, with 5,000 lining up for Integrate and 4,000 attending the security exhibition. And early estimates suggest this was a 5% increase in visitor numbers from the previous year.

The final day was also busy with many attendees hoping to get more one-on-one time. Stands were also bigger, with bellweather brand Cisco, back on board, after being absent for several years. The Tech Talks were well attended with the diversity of the topics popular, according to exhibitor feedback.

Among the exhibitors was Epson, that decided to do something different at Integrate this year.

And visitors could not miss the entrance to the Epson stand with its vivid display of the iconic sails from the Opera House. Bringing this signage to life were two 20,000 lumen Epson EB-PQ2220B projectors stacked on top one another to highlight their compact size and weight, easier installation and set-up.

An Integrate debut on the Epson stand was the immersive tunnel, featuring the LightScene EV-115 digital signage solution that illuminates and projects onto any surface or material, enabling digital art and commercial signage across a wide variety of applications. Alongside this was the EB-805F laser display solution that brings informative signage to life, with scalable projections of up to 130-inches. The EB-805F adds a fresh dimension to signage with borderless images and projection onto ultra-wide surfaces.

Epson had two EB-810E projectors showing different applications with bright and vibrant images up to 160-inches, enabling content visibility from all angles and distances. The EB-810E super- short-throw lens allows discreet positioning close to any wall, allowing access without casting shadows. Combined with flexible installation options, this versatile projector is an ideal display solution suitable for different room sizes.

Another exhibitor at Integrate was Jabra. Consultant Lloyd Nucup told Appliance Retailer when it comes to headset users were looking for something they can use in a hybrid scenario: “for example headsets that they can wear in the office or leisure, in a non-working environment”. And wireless: “being able to connect to most devices so flexibility is important for many customers too,” he said.
