A product recall has been issued for Vitamix 225ml and 600ml blending containers and blade bases compatible with selected Vitamix Ascent and Venturist Series blenders.
The container can separate from the blade base exposing the blades, posing risk of injury from laceration.
Consumers should stop using affected products immediately, visit this website and register their details to receive a repair kit. Consumers can also call 1800 959 459 Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm for details about corrective action and to register their details.
The containers were sold nationally and internationally between 1 October 2019 and 22 July 2024 via Amazon, Catch, Costco, David Jones, Kitchen Warehouse, Myer, Raw Blend, TVSN, Vitamix direct and Williams Sonoma Singapore.
The affected containers were manufactured after May 2018 and are sold separately as sets or included in bundles.
