NSW Fair Trading is warning consumers not to deal with Digital Skies Group trading as online electronic stores Android Enjoyed, Camera Sky and Klukkur. This follows numerous complaints primarily concerned with quality of goods sold, the acceptance of payment with supplying goods, the supply of goods not suitable for the Australian market and other Australian Consumer Law offences.
The online businesses sell electronic products including cameras, mobile phones and smart watches and operate online via three different websites. Earlier this month, Android Enjoyed appeared on the Fair Trading Complaints Register.
NSW Fair Trading commissioner, Rod Stowe, has urged anyone considering doing business with Digital Skies Group to give the matter serious consideration before making any payment or purchasing any products. “Fair Trading has been unable to make contact with the business owner despite numerous attempts,” Stowe said.
The estimated total market value of consumer detriment is $150,000.
With all three businesses based online, Digital Skies Group has no physical operational address in Australia, despite listing a location in a large shopping mall on all three websites.
