Xiaomi is expanding its footprint with the launch of the new POCO F6 series smartphones, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and exceptional performance at an accessible price.
Powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the flagship POCO F6 Pro features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels for a fully immersive visual experience. POCO F6 incorporates the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with WildBoost Optimisation 3.0 and LiquidCool technology 4.0, designed for the ultimate gaming experience.
Amid the rapid technological evolution, Australians are increasingly seeking versatile smartphones that offer a premium experience without breaking the bank, according to Xiaomi Australia managing director, David Xiao.

The POCO F6 Pro’s display offers 2K resolution, 4,000 nits (peak) brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification. It features Xiaomi HyperOS operating system, 12GB memory and 512GB storage.
POCO F6 Pro boasts new Dual Native ISO Fusion technology which features a high and low gain channel with a maximum exposure difference of up to 16 times. The user can photograph scenes with significant light and dark contrast. Burst Shot Mode 2.0 uses the POCO Imaging Engine for fast and clear shots, while the new Ultra Night Algorithm provides bright, clear night photos with accurate colours using AI multi-frame fusion.
POCO F6 is centred on CPU and AI capabilities, with an X4 prime core and an AnTuTu score of over 1.53 million, claiming to outperform most smartphones in its class, delivering smooth and effortless all-around performance.
POCO’s WildBoost Optimisation 3.0 takes software tuning to new levels with an in-house algorithm that pushes the Genshin Impact game to support 1.5K resolution, resulting in an elevated visual experience. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AI capabilities ensure enhanced power efficiency and lower temperature. The latest LiquidCool Technology features a new IceLoop system, improving vapour-liquid circulation flow to remove heat and improve heat dissipation.
POCO F6 also introduces the first CrystalRes display in the POCO F Series. A 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,400 nits (peak) brightness, and 68 billion colours in 1.5K high-definition quality. A super-slim bezel and screen-to-body ratio of 94.27% are supported by TÜV Rheinland eye-care and circadian-friendly and flicker-free certifications.
POCO F6’s 50MP triple camera setup with an IMX882 ultra-wide sensor with F/1.59 aperture allows in more light to create high-quality shots in daylight and at night. It includes OIS and EIS for stable photos and 4K video at 60 FPS.
POCO F6 Pro will be available in black and white for RRP $999 and the POCO F6 in black, green, and titanium for RRP $699.
