Yamaha Music Australia is releasing the WS-B1A Bluetooth speaker – its first foray leveraging its True Sound philosophy in a compact and portable speaker.
Despite weighing only 490 grams and measuring 10cm, the WS-B1A doesn’t compromise on sound with a 5.5cm full-range driver unit and 10W maximum output power. Allowing users to experience sound anywhere, anytime with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, encased in custom fabric that allows sound to pass through unobstructed, while increasing the overall tactile and aesthetic appeal.
A unique Yamaha technology, adopted from Yamaha’s soundbar range, Clear Voice brings narration and dialogue to the forefront, making WS-B1A an ideal solution for listening to podcasts or audiobooks without headphones.
The WS-B1A boasts up to 12 hours of playback on a full charge with a charge time of approximately three hours. Charging can be done with a USB-C cable connection or using the CC-T1A charging cradle (sold separately) exclusive to the WS-B1A for seamless charging without the need to plug and unplug the unit from a cable.
The WS-B1A is available in three colours – basic black, carbon grey with rose gold accents, or light grey for RRP $149.
